Jersey Village Fire Department is responsible for fire protection and emergency medical services in the City of Jersey Village, TX. We also promote fire safety through public education, fire prevention programs and inspections. Together with the JV Police, we are 911 in the city of Jersey Village. Our station, equipment and training are state-of-the-art.

What you may not know, is that most of the members of the department are volunteers. JVFD is a combination fire department, where volunteers and paid staff share the same duties. A dedicated group of approximately 30 volunteers is supplemented by paid staff. Seventy percent of the firefighters in the U.S. are volunteers.

The same is true for Jersey Village. Our volunteer staff includes firefighters, rescue technicians, and EMTs.
